What is Livepush?
Livepush is a cloud-based live streaming platform. You connect your camera or encoder once, and Livepush sends your stream to YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and 30+ other platforms at the same time. You can also broadcast pre-recorded videos as if they were live, and embed a branded player on your own website - all from one dashboard, with no extra hardware.
Who is Livepush for?
Livepush is used by content creators, churches, sports clubs, event broadcasters, educators, media companies, and production studios. Whether you are going live once a week or running 24/7 channels, Livepush handles the distribution so you can focus on the content.
Do I need any special equipment?
No. All you need is an internet connection and a streaming encoder - software like OBS Studio (free) works perfectly. Livepush runs entirely in the cloud. You send us one stream, and we distribute it everywhere.
How do I get started?
Sign up for free, connect your streaming platforms, add your RTMP server URL and stream key to your encoder, and go live. Most users are broadcasting within 15 minutes of signing up. No credit card is required for the free plan.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan includes 20 streaming hours per month to up to 3 platforms simultaneously. Hours reset at the start of each month. No credit card needed - just sign up and start streaming.
What is the difference between social media streaming and live event hosting?
Social media streaming sends your live video to platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch. Live event hosting gives you a brandable player you can embed on your own website, served via Akamai CDN with direct HLS / M3U8 links. The live event hosting plans include everything in social media streaming, plus your own player and delivery infrastructure.

What is the difference between the plans?
The Free plan gives you 20 hours per month to get started. Pro unlocks unlimited hours, more simultaneous streams, and Custom RTMP. Creators adds 24/7 scheduling, video looping, 4K output, and a website embed player with branding. Business adds higher stream counts, more storage, more platform destinations, and priority support for teams running full-scale operations.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Paying annually saves you up to 20% compared to monthly billing. The annual price is shown on each plan card - you can switch between monthly and annual at the top of the pricing page before subscribing.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. When you upgrade, you get access to new features immediately. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel before your next billing date and you will not be charged again. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, so you keep full access until it expires.
What happens if I go over my streaming hours?
On paid plans, streaming hours are unlimited - there is no overage on stream time. If you are on the free plan and hit 20 hours, your streams will pause until the next month or until you upgrade.
Is there a refund policy?
We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis, particularly if you experienced a technical issue that prevented you from using the service. Contact support via live chat and we will work with you to find a fair resolution.

Can I stream to multiple platforms at once?
Yes. Livepush sends your live stream to multiple platforms simultaneously from a single source. Depending on your plan, you can stream to 10, 30, or 40+ destinations at the same time - YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and many more.
What platforms does Livepush support?
Livepush supports 40+ platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Twitter/X, Vimeo, Dailymotion, LinkedIn, TikTok, Kick, Rumble, DLive, Trovo, BiliBili, and many more. You can also stream to any RTMP-compatible destination via Custom RTMP - including Zoom, Dacast, and private media servers.
Can I stream to Facebook Pages and Groups?
Yes. Livepush supports streaming to Facebook Profiles, Pages, and Groups from the same dashboard. You can add multiple Facebook destinations and manage them alongside all your other platforms.
What is Custom RTMP?
Custom RTMP lets you stream to any platform or server that accepts an RTMP URL and stream key - even if it is not in our built-in list. This includes private media servers, hardware decoders, CDN ingest points, or platforms we have not yet added natively.
What does "destinations per platform" mean?
It means how many separate accounts of the same platform you can stream to simultaneously. For example, with 3 destinations per platform you can stream to 3 different YouTube channels or 3 different Facebook pages at once - useful for agencies and media teams managing multiple brands.
Can I record my live streams?
Yes. Livepush can save a recording of your live session automatically. Recording length and how long we keep the file varies by plan - from around 6 hours per event on Pro up to 20 hours on Business, stored for up to 2 months.

Scheduled & pre-recorded

Can I stream pre-recorded videos as live?
Yes. Upload your video to Livepush, pick a date and time, and it streams automatically to all your connected platforms as if it were happening live. Viewers see a live broadcast - you do not need to be present.
Can I schedule streams in advance?
Yes. You can queue multiple videos in a schedule and let Livepush broadcast them automatically. The number of events you can schedule at once depends on your plan - from 1 event on Free up to 80 on Business.
Can I run a 24/7 live channel with pre-recorded content?
Yes, on the Creators plan and above. You can create playlists that loop continuously, so your channel stays live around the clock without you lifting a finger. This is popular for TV-style channels, music channels, and event countdowns.
Can I run multiple pre-recorded streams to different channels at the same time?
Yes. Livepush lets you run several pre-recorded streams simultaneously, each going to entirely different destinations. For example, you could have one video streaming to a YouTube premiere, another to a Twitch channel, and a third to a Facebook event - all scheduled independently and running at the same time. The number of simultaneous pre-recorded streams depends on your plan, from 2 on Pro up to 12 on Business.
Does pre-recorded streaming look live to viewers?
Yes. From the viewer's perspective on YouTube, Facebook, or any other platform, it appears as a live stream. The platform shows it as live, comments and reactions work in real time, and there is no indication that the content was pre-recorded.
How much video storage do I get?
Storage ranges from 200 MB on the free plan up to 100 GB on Business. Videos you upload for pre-recorded streaming count toward your storage limit. You can delete old videos to free up space at any time.

Website player

Can I embed a live player on my website?
Yes. Every Livepush plan includes an embeddable HTML5 live player. Copy the iframe snippet from your dashboard and paste it into any webpage. The player is responsive, works on all devices, and does not require any plugins.
Can I brand the player with my logo and colours?
Yes, on the Creators plan and above. You can add your logo as an overlay, set a custom background poster image shown before the stream starts, and choose a custom colour theme for the player controls - so it looks like part of your website, not a third-party tool.
Can I password-protect my stream?
Yes. On the Creators plan and above, you can restrict access to your embedded player with a secret code. Only viewers who enter the correct password can watch - useful for members-only events, private screenings, and paid access.
Can I restrict who can watch based on location?
Yes. Livepush supports geo-blocking - you can whitelist or block viewers by country. You can also restrict the player to only load on specific domains, preventing others from hotlinking your embed on their own sites.
What CDN does Livepush use?
Livepush delivers player streams through Akamai - one of the world's largest CDN networks. This means fast, low-latency delivery to viewers globally, with consistent performance whether you have 10 or 10,000 viewers.

Technical

What encoders work with Livepush?
Livepush works with any RTMP or SRT encoder, including OBS Studio, Streamlabs, Wirecast, vMix, XSplit, Zoom, and StreamYard. Enter your Livepush RTMP server URL and stream key in your encoder, and you are ready to broadcast.
What protocols does Livepush support?
For ingest, Livepush accepts RTMP and SRT. For output and delivery, we provide RTMP output links, SRT output links (Studio plan and above), and direct HLS / M3U8 / DASH playback links for embedding or integration with any compatible player.
Can I get a direct HLS / M3U8 link for my stream?
Yes. Every Livepush stream generates a dedicated M3U8 (HLS) and DASH URL. You can use these links in any compatible media player, smart TV app, or custom video player - not just the Livepush embed widget.
What video resolution and quality does Livepush support?
Livepush supports up to 1080p on the Events plan and up to 4K on Studio and above. Output quality depends on your source stream quality and encoder settings. We pass through the quality you send us without re-encoding by default, which preserves fidelity and reduces latency.
What is adaptive quality streaming (ABR)?
ABR (Adaptive Bitrate) transcoding creates multiple quality versions of your stream - for example 1080p, 720p, and 480p - and automatically serves the right one based on each viewer's internet speed. This reduces buffering for viewers on slower connections. ABR is available as an add-on on any paid plan.
Can I monitor my stream in real time?
Yes. The Livepush dashboard shows live stream health, viewer analytics, and connection status for all active streams. You can see which platforms are connected, viewer counts, and any errors as they happen - without leaving the dashboard.

Account & support

How do I reach support?
Our support team is available via in-app live chat, with most queries answered within a few hours. Business subscribers get priority support with faster response times. For self-serve documentation, visit our Help Center.
Can I invite team members?
Yes. All plans include team member invites - from 2 invites on the free plan up to 15 on Business. Team members can access the dashboard, manage streams, and collaborate without sharing your account credentials.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Payments are processed securely - we never store your card details on our servers.
Can I get an invoice for my subscription?
Yes. A receipt is emailed automatically after every successful payment. You can also download invoices directly from your billing settings at any time.
Do you offer plans for agencies or teams managing multiple clients?
Yes. Business supports up to 15 simultaneous live streams, 15 destinations per platform, and multiple team member invites - making it suited for agencies running streams across several client accounts.
